Order Timeline & Process

1. Order at least 1 month before you need your completed design. We mail a kit to do your impressions. If printing more than 1 person, plan to print them at the same time.
2. The kit is easy. Use & return to us within 1 month of receipt.
3. Once we receive your impressions, we need 2-3 weeks to process them. Shipping info below.

We only send kits for pre-paid orders. If after you receive your kit and need more clay to re-do molds, replacement clay = $22.50. 

Child's Age 

You may print at any age. Fingerprint ridges can be subtle at any age, especially with babies. Many parents fingerprint newborns & are happy with the results. Sometimes young children will show ridges around a smooth area in the middle of their print.

Pendant & Charm Appearance 

Slightly rustic, organic with minor imperfections. Yours will look similar to one you've seen, but not exactly. Print quality varies greatly. We send finished pieces that are within a normal range of quality including subtle or partial prints. If yours is below average, we'll give you the option to buy more clay before we work on your piece. Most prints are average to slightly above average. Charm size depends on the design and fingerprint size. Younger children can have larger prints than older children. We process your prints without resizing them according to age. The inscription is a handwritten, organic look. 

No Refunds 

Nor exchanges during any phase of this process once you place an order, including if you decide not to complete your kit. Full price applies for re-dos once a design is complete. This process is time consuming & we incur costs throughout every step from the moment you order. We have an excellent track record & customers are happy when they make an informed purchased. Gift Giving 

This is a better option than sending a kit due to the clay's shelf life. Be certain that the recipient can wear silver as there are no refunds.

A Loved One Is Dying 

In urgent circumstances, we can sometimes use a different clay that you can find at your local craft store. Contact us for more information. Unfortunately, we can not use an ink print.

Material & Care 

Fingerprint jewelry is made of sterling silver. Tarnishing can occur. A silver polishing cloth cleans this well. Do not use liquid silver cleaner as it is very harsh on the silver. If you have reactions to silver, quick blackening will occur & cleaning may not help. We are not responsible if your piece blackens for reasons beyond our control. Common reasons = body chemistry, products on your skin & environmental factors. Wear & tear of metal charms including the print area is also a possibility especially if metal is rubbing on your prints.

U.S. Shipping:

• Fingerprint kits ($25) Kit shipping includes shipping of the kit, 1st class postage paid packaging for you to return impressions to us & shipping of your completed design. Final shipping of your design comes with signature confirmation. If no one is available to sign for your package, it will be held at your post office. Let us know during check out if you want to waive this option.
• Non-fingerprint orders ship in 7-10 business days & include tracking.
• We are not responsible for tracked shipments that show they have been delivered.
• Express delivery available upon request. 

Orders from outside of the US: 

We only take orders from Canada and by phone/email only. Contact us and indicate your interest. Details for ordering will be provided upon your request.

Returns for non-custom items like stones and chains are done as exchanges within 2 weeks of receiving your item if in its original condition. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Contact us to notify us you are mailing something back.

We test & inspect our components prior to shipping your piece. We will repair your piece if it arrives to you with defects such as broken chain or glass. Jewelry involves moving parts - normal wear & tear is expected (clasps, jump rings). Fees apply to repair/tune such issues. Inspect your jewelry regularly. Replacements for lost jewelry are at full price.
